COMPLIMENTARY WEBINAR • MEDICAL AFFAIRS LEADERSHIP COUNCIL

How Payers and IDNs Think About Value and the Data They Trust to Make Decisions
Insights from over 50 conversations with medical executives

Thursday, September 19, 2019 • 3 p.m. ET

Over the last 6 months, we led a series of research interviews with several different stakeholders in the health care ecosystem. Our interviewees included health plan executives, such CMOs, VPs of clinical and pharmacy, as well as leaders and industry experts that influence those decisions--like PBM leaders, actuarial consultants, market access leaders, and third-party health technology assessment firms.

Here's what we wanted to know:

  1. How do payers assess whether, and how, they will provide benefit coverage for new drugs and therapies?
  2. What factors do they take into account and consider most important?
  3. What evidence do payers trust to determine a new drug or device's medical value? What data do they want to see?

Join our webinar Thursday, September 19 at 3 p.m. ET to hear answers to these (and more) pressing questions. This is part of a larger Advisory Board Research initiative to understand how different stakeholders define, measure, and deliver on value. We want to know: Where are we today, and what is changing? Where will we be in 5 years?
