Value analysis committees (VACs) play an important role evaluating medical products and technologies for use within hospitals and IDNs.
To successfully navigate the value analysis process, it’s critical for suppliers to understand the way in which value analysis committees are organized and how they make decisions. However, suppliers too often don’t know the participants involved in value analysis, VAC goals, or the types of data that committee members value when assessing a product.
To shed light on these questions and more, we surveyed and interviewed supply chain and value analysis leaders to answer the, "who, what, and how" of value analysis. We compiled 7 of those findings into this guide.
